Item 5: WHAT DID YOU LIKE BEST ABOUT THE
COURSE?
Classes Which Used the Video But Not
Table Talk
- I enjoyed the material we used.
- The stories -- they were real examples and I learned a lot from
them.
- Taught us stuff; made us aware.
- Video was very interesting. It helped me understand about this
kind of stuff.
- Movie/material had a good message and was very eye-opening.
- True life stories. Had Bible stories to go with the sessions. It
was a good movie. It helps to paint a picture of what it's really like.
It answered questions about everything.

- Video was scary-but seemed like it was told for a reason. Admired
Heidi & Mark for telling their story. Learning possible ways to
respond to people we don't know.
Student comments about the video:
- Overall, though, I thought it was good. You had real people
instead of people acting it out so you really heard how it made you
feel & what goes on.
- Got the message across. One-on-one with the person; not actors or
actress.
- It cut to the point. It talked about pimps, too, which people
sometimes forget are a part of prostitution.
- It taught me about something. It had a lot of information in it.
- Taught us how to get around things like prostitution and drugs.
Made me think about things I hadn't thought about as much.

Item 6: WHAT DIDN'T YOU LIKE ABOUT THE
COURSE?

- It was too long.
- I liked it all!!!
- A lot of worksheets.

- Music was irritating. This was so different from our lives that
it was hard to accept the lifestyle as something real -- not a
movie or TV show.
Student comments about the video:
- At some points in the movie it was hard to understand because we
haven't really been exposed to it.
- Didn't make sense (it was disjointed) Didn't like sudden clip
when they were talking. Just didn't like it. He hesitated like -
ah-ah-ah.
- Didn't explain very well on where to go for help. Some parts seem
like they were being repeated over & over & over & over.
- I didn't like the music in the movie. I didn't like the
flashbacks in the movie.
