Campaign 10,000
The first step in reducing commercial sexual exploitation is to educate young people about the realities of the sex industry, how they could be recruited as workers or customers, and how they can make themselves less vulnerable to exploitation and the consequences.
A-STOP set a goal of taking this message to 10,000 Minnesota youth in 1996 -- Campaign 10,000. We ask schools, churches, and communities to value children, to protect the vulnerable, and to warn those who would take advantage of them. We ask ourselves and others to be accountable for the future of our youth.
In 2002 our organization changed its name to Adults Saving Kids. Prior to that we were called A-STOP (Alliance for Speaking Truths On Prostitution), STOP (Speaking Truths On Prostitution), or Grassroots Ministry Alliance.
