Many people do not believe in mind control because they don’t understand it. They think that the controlled person is just disobeying or rebelling against their parents and authority. But it does exist, and we must first understand mind control before we can deprogram the one whose mind is being controlled by someone else.

The essence of mind control is that it encourages dependence and conformity—discourages independence and individuality. Thousands of people in prostitution have been subjected to mind control and they don’t even know it. The prostitute loses her identity, which is made up of her beliefs, behaviors, thought processes, and emotions. When she loses her original identity, her freedom of choice is replaced with the identity that the pimp gives her. This is the way he controls her.

This is when the prostitute will become disrespectful toward parents, break family ties, side with the pimp, leave home, allow her name to be changed by the pimp (given a street name), discontinue her education, and abandon work habits and morals she had before. She begins to conform to the standards of the pimp whose influence is at work at all times.

Mind control is "thought reform." Because its perpetrators are regarded as friends or lovers, the person being controlled is less defensive. She participates in the mind control by cooperating with her controller, doing what he wants her to do.

A psychologist named Leo Festinger says that mind control has three components: control of behavior, control of thoughts, and control of emotions. Each component has a powerful affect on the other. If you can change one, you can change the others.

Pimps know this and exploit other human beings without their knowledge. When we learn more about mind control and understand its effects, we must use this knowledge in positive and non-exploitive ways.
